‘Political Science is a Democratic One’
The Higher School of Economics and Bologna University have signed an agreement on cooperation. Giliberto Capano, Dean of the Bologna University Faculty of Political Science, told us about some future joint educational and research projects and about the connection between a democratic political system and political science development.

Angelika Nussberger, Director of the Cologne University Institute for Eastern European Law, and Eduard Ivanov, Deputy Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law, told us about the Russian-German seminar on ‘International Legal Problems of Counterterrorism’, which took place at the HSE on November 5th and 6th, as well as about plans for further cooperation between the two universities.
Global Relations
On October 19th a meeting of the HSE International College of Economics and Finance with the British Ambassador in Russia, Anne Pringle, took place at the HSE. The Ambassador gave a lecture on ‘The Global Economy and An Overview of British-Russian Relations ’.
HSE and University of Luxembourg: Expanding the Collaboration

Students in World Politics
Mark Manuilov, a second-year student of the HSE Faculty of Management master’s course, told us about a new student initiative –a Russian-American forum involving the HSE, several other Moscow universities and Stanford University. Mark is one of the students who organized this project.
